Sorinex Summer Strong 16

Sitting at the airport heading out to Sorinex Summer Strong 16. 

This was the shirt from SS2 back in 2009 when it was a small gathering of “like minded” strength enthusiasts gathered (or should I say crammed into) in the small showroom/gym to celebrate Richard’s Birthday and our love of Strength.

It was just as simple as it sounds!! We lifted heavy weights and cheered others on as they lifted testing themselves against the Iron. Then we headed outside to the hot as f@*k asphalt parking lot (in the middle of June) to eat BBQ and share stories then it was time to start throwing Highland Games implements into the dark hours before passing out back at my hotel in a bathtub.

I have only missed Summer Strong a couple of times and I really enjoy hanging out with folks I've met before and making new friends that all seem to share a passion.  When I'm asked about Summer Strong my reply is always the same... "You've got to experience it for yourself"
