Spencer Nealy signs with the Detroit Lions

Well the NY Jets screwed my man Spencer around but as he always does Spencer didn't give up and continued to train and he landed on his feet.....in DETROIT!! Last Tuesday he went up for a try out and was signed that day. I spoke to Lions' assistant strength and conditioning coach Ted Rath about him and Ted had nothing but great things to say. Got a chance after he signed to talk to Spencer about everything as well.
Congratulations and Good Luck you have damn sure earned your opportunity!! Sure am proud of you.

I asked the guys working if I could flip them and tried to explain why I wanted to flip these monstrous tires … the look these guys gave me was was absolutely priceless then I was told “Yeah crazy white boy knock yourself out”
If you know me then you know that my Dad and I never had the normal 'father/son' relationship that so many of you out there enjoy with your fathers and so when I see the young men that I coach struggle with the dynamics of this important relationship I share with them stories from own personal struggles.
