Sorinex Summer Strong 9

Well I've finally had a chance to sit down and process everything from Summer Strong 9. This was my 5th Summer Strong to attend and I love how it's grown but also stayed true to what it really is all about and that is a Family getting together to talk about training and life and lift some weights and enjoy some damn good Southern BBQ and beer!! What could be any better than that?! NOTHING 

It really is a difficult thing to try and explain to folks what exactly Summer Strong is and why I have felt so compelled to travel to South Carolina just to attend but I'll try without getting into too much detail. It kicks off about 1 on Friday but I headed to breakfast at 6:30am so I could beat the 'hungry hippos' that will head to the buffett soon enough. Coach Tom Strock sat down next to be and even though we had seen each othe a few times (he's been to every Summer Strong) this was the first time we had an opportunity to talk. Come to find out he grew up, like me in Detroit. We talked about many of the things we did as kids at a gret time to grow up in the city.
